Quality substitutes are an important part of our student's school day. We strive to maintain a substitute list of at least 300 qualified and dedicated teachers who will work to ensure the quality of service our students expect. If you are a certified licensed teacher and would like to join our team, please check the Wisconsin Education Career Network (WECAN)  to see if we are accepting applications.

When openings occur, applications from WECAN will be reviewed and selected candidates will be contacted. You will be asked to schedule a time to meet with Lauri Kiely (262-970-1034) in the Human Resources Office. At that meeting she will have you complete the various employment forms, explain the AESOP Substitute Scheduling System, and have you view the 20 minute video on bloodborne pathogens. All new substitutes are required to have a physical and TB test as well as pass a criminal background check prior to being added to the substitute list.

Rate of pay for the 2011-2012 school year is:

• $100.00 per day, or
• $115.00 per day for long term sub (at least 21 consecutive work days) or
• $155.00 per day for long term assignments (at least 60 consecutive work days).
